한국에서 뉴욕으로 왔습니다. 저는 한국에서 외과의사였습니다만은 비즈니스로 전공을 바꾸려 하고 있습니다. 일년정도의 비즈니스 경험으로 비추어 보았을때 아시아에서 비즈니스를 한다면 일본어 중국어등 아시아 언어를 꼭 배워야 할것 같아서 일본어를 공부하게 되었습니다. 저는 SATO 선생님과 아주 재미있게 일본어를 배우고 있고 2주간 특별히 어려웠던 적은 없습니다. 앞으로도 열심히 공부해서 일본어를 잘 하고 싶습니다.

I can't imagine how much more success you hope to gain as a businessman in Korea if you do choose to go back. What are you dreaming of? (I hope I'm not vexing you with such a frank question.) I'm sure that if you're here at Columbia with such fluent English you're a pretty smart chap who probably wouldn't have had problems in med school. As an Americanized Korean I'm simply fascinated in understanding the contemporary Korea. Perhaps you can give me a glimpse? You might actually annihilate my pessimistic view on my motherland. At the very least, it would hone your affluence while conversing on the topic that you may know most about?
I'm also aiming for Chinese so I hope you don't mind my asking how far you are in the study?

My Chinese, I am studying in the second semester of 2.5 elementary Chinese at here Columbia. It is not that fun like Japanese althoug I love both. Zaizien! Jya matta. 그럼 또 봐요. Bye.
I remember Sato sensei said that Google Translate doesn't really do a good job translating Asian languages. So when I used it to translate your blog into Chinese and saw "Cantonese" came up in the entry, I got really disappointed (I am a long time admirer of Google team!) 'cause I thought that was a mistake...until I realized (after reading the comments) that you ARE actually learning Chinese too!?
That's amazing! Qua-lingual?! Is that even a real word? =P
